Happy 2 Months to sweet Jake!
At 2 months old Jake was:
He is sleeping 5-6 hour stretches.
He smiles regularly.
He got his first shots, one in each thigh and Mom cried harder than he did.
He loves to get his baths, ride in the stroller and the car.
We walk to Starbucks and he rides looking up at me. He charms people everywhere we go.
He coos and babbles and we have lovely conversations. He still curls up in ball when he has been asleep in the carseat and you pull him out. He is a great eater and is fed only breastmilk. He will take a bottle and goes from happy/jolly to angry/hungry in an instant. He still loves to snuggle and needs the most help getting back to sleep in the morning. He rarely cries, only fussy when tired or hungry, or maybe a big burp. He doesn't spit up a lot, but on days when he does, usually it is constant, but it doesn't bother him a bit. I am sure it is something Mama ate. He is incredibly sweet and independent. He will entertain himself on the blanket for over 30 min while I get ready in the morning and then sit with me in the afternoon while I get dinner ready. We often have a picnic lunch on the kitchen floor as usually it is speed eating for Mama before nap time rolls around. Naps are still irregular, but we are getting better at it. A well rested Jake is the best Jake. Every day that goes by I love this little man more and more.
